The officiant is dressed as Master Chief from the video game “Halo”. The whole wedding had a Halo theme – the string quartet played music from the game, the sleeves of her dress featured her avatar and so on. The couple met online via the game!

I was going to say the same thing about Master Chief… I also met my husband on Halo 4 years ago… so i think this is cool.

id like a close up on that armor, wonder if its mark5 or 6, anway it looks from that angle to be kinda fail armor, dont remember the guys name but some guy did armor between halo2 and 3, were actually accurate looking too, 3 thousand dollars but pure win nonetheless, got microsofts attention and they ordered suits for the halo 3 release.
How creative and fun! Looks like they had a fantastic wedding totally suited to the way they wished. Love it. Geeky is cool ~ especially when you’ve found the one just for you, lol.
That’s actually Master Chief from Halo. Backdrop is a screenshot (I think) of the bridge of the “Pillar of Autumn”, the ship where we first meet Master Chief in the original game. VERY cool…

This is an AWESOME wedding. And the bride and groom are awesome too. I compliment them on their wedding idea. I mean come on. Yeah it’s “geeky” but… I also met my fiancee on this game and we plan on doing something like this. Just not to this extent.
