Mr. FancyPants

Here’s what I see happening in this picture:

Mr. FancyPants is getting married to his Fairy Princess, who is wearing a Barbie Halloween costume 2 sizes too small. Their ceremony is being led by the groom’s 18-year-old Dungeon Master, who is reading the couple their vows from an Olive Garden menu. Behind the groom stands the first of what I assume is a full flock of bridesmaids dressed as birds. The couple’s first dance will be set to Scarborough Fair, and they plan to honeymoon in Mr. FancyPants’s mom’s basement.

Am I close?

Seriously, does anything match at this wedding?! He doesn’t go with her, the bridesmaid doesn’t go with anyone…even the damn gazeebo things are different colours. I’ll bet you anything they’re wearing odd socks too.

  2. sallahdog says:

looks like ren faire gone wrong..

  3. You forgot that it was being officiating by a stocky-set thirteen year-old boy in a Sears ensemble.

  4. Monkie says:

That dress is absolutely accentuating her behind… From the waist up, she looks rather slim, but her but is gigantic in this thing!
And I wont even get started on mr. FancyPants…

  5. Malisyn says:

    @Sadie
Well, the flowers in that wooden box match both his pants and her dress. And at least the groom seem happy. That’s it, I can’t find any more positives.

  6. Maria says:

I want this wedding. It looks like lots of fun. Well, maybe a bridesmaid….

  7. bellefemmeici says:

I find this inexplicable. I won’t even try.

  8. Lorie Shewbridge says:

You forgot to mention the silver shoes on the birdie bridesmaid….
Where is Mr. Fancy Pant’s horse?????

  9. Nora says:

“who is reading the couple their vows from an Olive Garden menu” – LOL. It does look like a menu doesn’t it.

I am with Sadie, are one or both of them color blind because it seems bizarre to me that they really didn’t match anything. I mean I guess Mr Fance Pants tie matches his brides Barbie Dress, (and the kid brother officient’s tie also might be light pink – hard to tell) but what is up with the Bridesmaid, why is she in a complete different color? Do they have no friends so just grabbed a random person at the Ren Fair to stand up at their wedding?

Reverend: Repeat after me, “I take thee, Pasta Primavera, to be my lawfully wedded breadstick. To have and to hold from this basket forward. In sauce times and bad. For rigatoni or poorer. Til death do us pasta.”

How much you wanna bet the right Rev got “ordained” over teh interwebz?

  11. Paddy says:

Renn Faire comments aside, I smell a steampunk. I’m betting the invitations listed the groom as “Dr. Papagorys Von Struckner” and moments after this picture was taken the bride and groom flew off in a zeppelin with “Just Married” emblazoned on the side…

  12. k says:

Is no one bothered by the fact that the bride and groom are standing in the (traditionally) wrong spots?

  13. mdog says:

About the bridesmaid – is that Betty or Wilma?? And who is she texting?

  14. geekers says:

That poor corset is being stretched to its absolute limit.

  15. the Jes says:

I am a pirate you are a princess is a song from playradioplay… perhaps they went with that for a theme? Good song, but if you’re gonna run with it for a wedding at least put more effort into it beyond your local dollar tree the day after halloween.
and I agree with geekers, poor corset :(

After the wedding he’s got to go back to waiting tables at Long John Silver’s and she has her cashier job at Hot Topic.

  17. Mr. Fancypants says:

Carnival themed wedding. There are much better photos of it circulating. I’m amused by the mean-spirited douchery, though. So thanks for that.

Except for the bridesmaid texting, it looks like folks are having a lot of fun (I am hoping that the “preacher” is a young relative who is just playing. I don’t THINK I’m old enough for preachers to look that young!). Personally, I’d love to see more pics! Kudos to you for having fun on your day!

i looked online for more of the pic’s,but couldnt find anymore. please post it so others can see more. it looks like it was a fun wedding. i hope you and ur bride are doing great!

  18. ftl says:

“Do you take this woman to be your wife?”

    “YARRR!”

“Is that “yar” as in “yes” or “yar” as in …. what? Jeez, this is why I hate theme weddings.”

  19. Sharon says:

If I was the bridesmaid I would f**king hate the bride for making me wear a ‘hurts-the-eyes’ clolured bridesmaids dress that looks like the night before everyone had ther ‘great’ idea to shred it. At least the bride and groom chose to wear their monstrosoties! Good God, please tell me they are all alcoholics who were permanently drunk?! I can’t think of any other explination! :0

  26. Em The Mildly Amazing says:

You look at this and see two weirdos. I look at this and see a variant on Kaylee’s layer cake dress and figure that ‘Mr. Fancy Pants’ is surely a variant upon ‘Captain Tightpants.’ I’m a hopeless nerd.

  27. Marikay4 says:

Okay I’m voting for the bridesmaid(or groomsette) and Groom to be either steam punk fans or old school carnie fans and some how the bride went zilla and decided instead of her planned matching wedding dress to bright pink barbie gear in a size a wee bit too small for her and to make up for it the groom was only able to swap his tie to pink last second when she showed up(hes missing a coat over the vest or his coats missing sleaves, not sure which but perhaps his overcoat was the original gowns color, as well as the poor young man signed up for the vow duties.

I actually think fancy pants looks pretty niffty if it wasnt for the evil pink tie. reminds me of a carrnie mister darcy…. hahahaha… the mind reels.

  28. [...] “Does that mean you’re upset with me? Are we not still going to Olive Garden? I was really looking forward to eating a basket of their buttery [...]

  29. costumepro says:

You guys do realize that the bride isn’t fat, right? Corsets are tight, that’s what they are for, and she doesn’t show the telltale signs of a big girl in a corset. Also, the groom appears to be wearing a modified jerkin, which would mean there never was a jacket.
