I kinda understood when this bride accidentally flashed her ass, or when this was caught on camera. I even understood this (hey, it was windy!). But just walking down some steps? Seems like it wouldn’t be too hard to keep your underwear under that massive dress.
And am I crazy or does this woman have Mattel body parts? A couple decades ago, this is exactly what my Bride Barbie looked like before she got dressed on her Big Day.
At least she is wearing undergarments.
Wow, someone slept through the “How to Handle a Hoopskirt” at the Bridal Seminar last year!
That groom is batting so far out of his league it’s untrue. He looks like he’s due in court and she looks like a sexy angel, the kind that would ride you stupid rather than talking about how great God is.
More proof positive that a hoop skirt wears YOU. Even at the peak of their heyday, when women wore them every day, hoop skirts required use of special furniture and extensive practice in navigational skills (in and out of carriages, through doorways, etc.). This was one reason that those women wore extensively ruffled, ankle-length bloomers underneath. (Another was for warmth – these wind-driven whoopsie-tents are chilly).
Modern brides who take on a hoop skirt for the biggest look-at-me photo-op of their lives, with no prior experience in wrangling one, are pwned.

I believe they were also heavy cotton or wool, so were more heavily weighted and less likely to become “flash-worthy” than the modern, bridal counterpart.

*giggle* I used to have the Bride Barbie (in blonde, though) and I bought it a hoop skirt-type dress. Then when the strap broke, I used it as a tent for the little Playmobil kids Barbie had! Ah, fun times…

Almost all people who commented seem to be bigots. The girl is showing well-formed legs in nice stockings, not the usual American obesity. What’s the problem?

well formed legs? hardly, that girl is malnourished . why do people have trouble with the concept of healthy weight? It’s not hard. legs should have definition and shape, and you shouldn’t be able to shoot a golf ball between her upper thighs without her noticing.
