Funny Wedding Photos - Stargate Wedding: I Guess They'll Never End

Submitted by: Rilnauial Source: Gate World Forum

It’s times like these that I am extra-impressed with today’s cake technology. How awesome is that digitally accurate edible photo of the Stargate?! Obviously symbolic of all of the other-worldly explorations the couple plans to get into…if you know what I’m sayin’! Bow chicka wow wow. Score one for the nerds!

Save Money, Live Better. Marry at Wal-Mart

Funny Wedding Photos - Save Money, Live Better. Marry at Wal-Mart

Submitted by: Unknown

Ah, so now we have an explanation for this post — I get it! I love it when things come full circle. I should have thought of it already, considering the rash of retail weddings going around these days.

To that end, don’t think of this couple marrying at Walmart as cheap or redneck; think of them as trendy. They’re ahead of the curve. Not only do they get to recite their vows in their favorite store, but they can get an eye exam, “professional” wedding portraits and a large basket of nachos on the way out. That’s not trashy — it’s just good sense!

Simultaneously the Best and Worst Proposal EVER

Aug. 31, 2010

Funny Wedding Photos - Simultaneously the Best and Worst Proposal EVER

Via: Julia Segal

Pizza love is one of the strongest kinds of love there is. It’s up there with puppies and rainbows. Especially when it has pepperoni on it, and especially when that pepperoni has been cut into little letters that form to spell the word “forever.” Do I want to take your greasy hand and walk down the aisle to a life full of smiles, kisses and marinara sauce? YES. I DO.

That being said, the letters aren’t in a particularly awesome font, which disappoints me. Fellas, you gotta do better than basic alphabet soup letters on a Pizza Proposal. Get into some fancy sh*t, like a brush script. Just a simple piece of advice.

So Sad They’re Gonna Die in like One Second

Funny Wedding Photos - So Sad Theyre Gonna Die in like One Second

Talk about taking a leap of faith. These daredevils are literally jumping into their nuptials. Or repelling into them…although I’m pretty sure they’re bungee jumping. It would be kind of cool if the wedding party all jumped down after them, but I’m guessing that wasn’t part of the plan. Either way, I hope there was some good food and a full bar once they hit the ground. Just the thought of bungee jumping puts me in need of a beverage.

These Guys Make Beautiful Bridesmaids

Nice socks, fellas! And hair-dos. You guys look ravishing. Except you on the end, Squatter. You don’t need to squat down so far. Obviously you’ve never hitchhiked before like your comrades. All it takes is a little leg, not a full pelvic thrust.

The Orange Satin is a Nice Complement to the Camo

Funny Wedding Photos - The Orange Satin is a Nice Complement to the Camo

OK, so this is a fall wedding? Who doesn’t want to rock camo couture? It’s totally on-trend. Plus, the bride and groom are color-coordinated. They look relaxed, happy and ready to kill some animals for the dinner reception. All elements that make a good wedding.

A Match Made in Hyrule

Funny Wedding Photos - A Match Made in Hyrule

According to the submitter, “We met online in a Zelda Tattoo Forum. It’s been two years, and we are still as geeky and happy as ever.”

Internet love is the best love there is. When you can find someone who you can spend the rest of your life with, knowing upfront that they’re going to be online as much as you are throughout the course of your marriage, it’s like, “Holy sh*tballs, this person is amazing.” And to not even have to get up off your butt to find them? Even better. I have a feeling these two are going to make it.

This Terrifies Me to My Very Core

Funny Wedding Photos - Terrified to my Core

Submitted by: Unknown

Whoa. I’ve seen some interesting “bridal water photos” but this has got to be the scariest. Is she trying to break the world record for holding your breath the longest underwater on your wedding day while wearing formal wear? If so, then I totally get it. (Hellooo, URDB!) If not, someone please explain it to me so I don’t have nightmares tonight. Kthx.

Fight to the Death Do ThemĀ Part?

Funny Wedding Photos - Fight to the Death

Submitted by: Unknown

All’s fair in love and war? Too many cliched phrases coming to mind here. I’m confused about why she doesn’t appear to be holding her own sword. If you’re gonna stage a battle in the middle of the desert at least have it be a fair fight, right? Although even without a weapon she still kinda looks like she could kick his ass. That sword will be in her hands in 3…2…1…
