I hear that any successful marriage proposals come with a free 2 liter of soda and a large Philly Cheese Steak Pizza, but don’t quote me on that.

The main thing I’m wondering is how this romantic proposal played out. Did Ben make a to-go order and ask Steph to pick it up? Or was he just assuming that she might notice this sign on her way home from work? I know logistics don’t matter in affairs of the heart, but I’m just curious. Either way I guess we know what they had for dinner to celebrate!

Damn girl. I know it’s your wedding day and all, but it is time. to put. the funnel. down. The tendrils that your hair stylist curled have lost their oomph. Typically when a bride wears a tiara, it’s a little tacky and tends to stand out. Not this time, though!

Is she a bird who’s flying the coop to be with her one true love? She looks like she’s preparing to lay a few eggs in that thing. And why the patent white boots? She just had to make the outfit worse? I really don’t understand the short-in-the-front, long-in-the-back wedding dress trend. Maybe someone should explain it to me.

After staring at this cake for a few minutes in awe (kinda loving the deer’s eyelashes), I think I get it. The groom wanted a cake that perfectly captured who he is: part hunter, part firefighter, part lover. And I think he achieved that pretty well. But I’m wondering: Do they save those animal heads and freeze them for the first anniversary or something? They look a little too friendly to slice up and eat. Or maybe I’m just not redneck enough.

Hopefully these henchmen (and henchwoman!) won’t foil the couple’s plans to make a secret getaway at the reception. Yes, the Maid Of Honor has on a tacky coral-colored dress with matching shoes (?!), but the groom is stylin’. He made sure his hair looked just right before heading to his otherwise traditional wedding ceremony, and I like that. I like thinking he spent more time getting ready than the bride did. It just seems romantic. Plus, no one has any fish hooks in their back, and that’s always helpful.

You know what is the best accessory when wearing an all-white suit? A teeny tiny princess bride. SO much cuter than cufflinks, and amazingly affordable! They come in a bunch of sizes, ranging from 4-14 inches high, and they look great both in the palm of your hand and standing on your shoulder. Consider them your little lucky charms!

This is the first time I’ve seen a romantic variation of the saying, “Why don’t you just go play in traffic!” And I think I like it! The open road at their feet….the potential for an epic game of chicken at any given moment…très sentimental. I just hope there wasn’t any roadkill nearby. That always ruins the mood on a freeway photoshoot.
